Not surprising at all. Best wishes to both of them. I assume Artesians are hoping they settle back in Landry's original hometown - because the genetics of their kids means high school superstars who are also going to be great kids.

Thanks for posting nmsooner80. I wish both of them only the best. Wonder how how this affects Landry's decision about returning for his senior year or declaring for the draft after this season. I can see both sides of it.

Whitney will also be a fourth-year junior at OU this fall on the women's basketball team. I think for her, a lot depends on her health. She's had knee problems. She is also a very popular player in that program because of her attitude, her smile and her talent. So I really hope she makes it through one more season at least (and drops about 30 points on UNM in the Pit this fall).

If she wants to play as a senior, that might affect Landry some. I also wonder how important it would be to him to put some OU passing records out of sight and to also hold out to be the No. 1 overall QB picked in the '13 draft. Andrew Luck of Stanford probably has that honor locked for '12.
