I remember the Boise game in one of the bowls where Boise gave the Sooners a "slap" in the face by winning that "big game." I think I agree with you, I don't believe it is Landry Jones but rather the Sooners as a team. Hope the NFL folks realize the Sooner machine having difficulties in big games and not the QB's.

Every year I see hometowns of kids in the draft throwing a huge draft party type thing for their kids. Is Artesia doing something like that for Landry because I would love to go to one.

Every year I see hometowns of kids in the draft throwing a huge draft party type thing for their kids. Is Artesia doing something like that for Landry because I would love to go to one. I haven't heard anything about something like that but I think it would be a fun idea. Maybe have something at the community center? Of course, the ultimate draft party would take place at The Bowl...NFL Channel fed through the Dogtron (video board) with audio through the PA system. Burgers, chips, and drink (for a fee of course) just like we do for the Onate scrimmage every year. Doubt that would happen though. Too many problems and unanswered questions. First of all the draft is a 3 day event this year. First round will be April 25 at 8pm ET. Second and third rounds will be April 26 at 6:30pm ET. Rounds 4-7 will be April 27 at 12:00pm ET. The first 2 days will be during prime time so most people should be off work by then. Rounds 4-7 start at 10:00am (our time) but it IS on a Saturday. If Landry isn't drafted on the first day, then how many people come back for the second day? The only draft party I know for sure I will be attending will be with my family......chips, dip, and maybe burgers cooked in the back yard.

Thats what I understand, they asked him to walk on this year, I think due to lack of more scholarship money, and if he made it, he would be given a scholarship next year!

I kept hearing "highly inconsistent" from the commentators, I disagree with the "highly" part. Kurt Warner did say he was "okay" and Mayock has him rated the 5th QB, I see him 3rd, over Nassib and Glennon.

Landry, I predict will go to the Pittsburgh Steelers but the Cowboys are ok afterall if fits him since he is named after the greatest coach of the cowboys, Tom Landry. Boy, do I miss the "real cowboys"....The Real America's Team

Landry, I predict will go to the Pittsburgh Steelers but the Cowboys are ok afterall if fits him since he is named after the greatest coach of the cowboys, Tom Landry. Boy, do I miss the "real cowboys"....The Real America's Team Many of us have grown to despise Oklahoma due to their lack of appreciation of Landry. I cannot think of an organization that is less appreciative of their own than the Dallas Cowpokes. Dalls fans are the worst, and I am a Cowboy fan! For this reason alone, I'd like to see Landry elsewhere.
