I hope coach Briles stays at Baylor.

Oh me too. I have known Art Briles for over 20 years. He has a ton of charisma. AT UT, he scares me for the Red Raiders, more than Saban does.

Bones Mansfield High finished 4th in the District with Cedar Hill and Desoto. We were up on Cedar Hill in late 3rd period. Cedar Hill is about 10 miles from the House and I don't think people understand how much speed and how many athletes they have.

They have a couple...........A couple more than anybody else! I think the way to beat them is to do what Katy tried to do. Shove it down their throat. You may not be successful, but you stand a better chance than you do letting them turn it into a track meet.

Bones you might want to keep up with Michael's son Zach. National Football Academies has just listed him in the top 10 8th Grade QB's in US. They said he had the best arm strength of any QB in 7th Grade last year that attended their Camps Nation wide. He is 5' 9" and already runs a 5.1 40. He and his 200LB Fullback were the only two on Mansfield JH team who started both ways. Zach also started at Safety. His RB was 6' 1" and 185 and ran for over 250 yards per game. Zach and his team went 7-2 on season and he had 10 TD passes and only 1 INT. We play all the Mansfield Middle School teams and the 2 Midolothian Middle school teams.

That's cool-- I will. Maybe he will have the sports IQ of his daddy. That was always impressive. What about baseball? My 2 younger boys are way into football and baseball, they tolerate basketball as well. I think they are more of the RB type. At least they've shown no interest in taking snaps so far. My 8 yr. old is a 3rd baseman and my kindergartener is a 2nd baseman.

Zach pitches and plays 1st Base. They played over 100 games this year in USSSA Select Baseball. I think his pitching will be limited in future. My Youngest Grandson is 9 and is FB and LB and Catches on Select Baseball team. He would rather knock somebody out that throw a ball
