www.dji.com/product/phantom-2-visionCamera with 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer Takes 14MP Still and 1080p Video Wi-Fi Downlink for Smartphones iOS/Android App for Monitoring/Control Up to 25 Minutes Flying Time GPS-Based Autopilot with Return to Home Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC) Stationary Hover with GPS Attitude Mode I wish Santa Claus would bring me one of these, 14MP Camera and 1080p Video Camera, could you imagine getting some football highlights and Pictures at Bulldog Bowl with some Aerial Footage? lol GPS Navigation too, pretty crazy tech. No doubt these will become more mainstream and cheaper, I could see these things getting real annoying to people too and shot out of the air by some lol.

But I could also see a ref throwing a flag and stopping the game as one of these things hovered 15 ft above the QB's head pre-snap. I love great game footage and highlight videos as much as anyone, but there are limits to everything. I can see one of these things completely ruining the game day experience. Might have to make Bulldog Bowl a no fly zone, lol. I would support that completely.

Well hopefully you fly the thing high enough and the camera just zooms in crispy, not fly directly over head lol.
There was an aerial picture from the playoff game with PV on Facebook, it looked cool but I have no idea who took it and thought it may have been taken by something similar to this

My thoughts are similar to the person that shot the one out of the sky, that was hovering over his back yard,,,,while his daughter was out there. While some would consider these playthings,,,they can be an invasion of your privacy and dangerous as well. I don't look forward to the first incident of one of these things causing a serious accident on the highways, or heaven forbid,,,in the sky.

Yeah they can be a nuisance I'm sure. They are going to be more mainstream though, 1st Page of Target Black Friday Ad this year has a video drone on it. If someone wants to buy me one, still waiting

We have them at our games and never notice them. In fact, the way I found out they were there was by seeing the cool overhead pictures. You can see a shot of our stadium taken from a drone on the Andrews ISD web site.

Schools and Stadiums are banning them. More and more restrictions are being put on the drones. I think in college you can't even film practice with them anymore. They are falling out of the sky even though they have fail safe modes.
