RR game was won on a last second field goal. Both teams made a lot of mistakes, Clovis came back and have real good running backs, no surprise there. Clovis missed only extra point for the game to leave it tied at 34, RR kick returners knock each other down at their 4 then they proceed to march down the field in less than a minite for the FG. UNM needs to look at RRs kicker Finnegan and Josh Foley a real good RB, very fast. Cleveland crushed Clovis last week in Clovis, it is still early but its going to take a great game to beat Cleveland. Will be a good game, Dogs vs Alamogordo.
On a side note, my wifes oldest son David will be the back judge in tomorrow nights UCLA vs Az game on ABC. Tall guy with short red hair.

Clovis ventures into the South Plains to face Wolfforth Frenship next Friday. I will be keeping my eye on that one! I love to see NM teams go into Texas and rep New Mexico well. But I have my doubts about this one.

Espanola is making some noise up north. Yes, the Espanola Valley Sundevils have an impressive 5-0 record with wins over......... El Paso Cathedral...20-14 West Las Vegas......50-0 Pojoaque Valley.....54-0 Wingate.............52-0 Gallup..............36-14 A very WEAK schedule, and the remainder of their schedule doesn't get any tougher.....they could very well finish the season 10-0. I look for them to make the playoffs easily. Then they will get mercy ruled in the playoffs.....hopefully by us, considering the way their fans treated our players at the State Basketball Tourny a few years ago. Anybody else remember their fans throwing water bottles and Cokes at Bulldog basketball players? I do.

I dont follow them very closely but St Pius is betting big publicity here in Abq. I know they dont play a tough schedule like the Dogs but always get hyped when they start the season successfully. Maybe somebody could do for them what Crispy did for Espanola Valley above.

Del Norte.....47-8 Los Alamos....46-0 Gallup........30-3 Bernalillo....47-7 Miyamura......38-15

I would not think Espanola would play Artesia in the first round. Maybe Roswell, so Roswell would tear them apart...St Pius obviously has a weak schedule too.
