I expect a shoot-out with you guys Friday night. The Dawgs are down 2-starters but I believe one returns this weekend. Good luck!

No excuses, we have injuries too! You go to the game with the players you have available. Good luck and let's hope for no more injuries for either team! Go Bulldogs.

The Dawgs are only down one player and he should return in 2-weeks so we are pretty much full strength for Friday. Should be a good game. Any of you Dogs coming to LC for this one?

Yep. I'll be there. I plan to leave my house early. You can never tell on the traffic. Plus driving through construction will slow me down a bit.

I hope the band comes to the game! I don't know if they are starting their competition soon that might limit their traveling nowadays.

Regretfully, I will not be there. I make every single home game, but as far as out-of-town games...MAYBE Roswell and Carlabad, and that's about it. In years-gone-by, when our one-and-only child was in the Bull DOG Band, the wife and I made every single game...both home and away. We even hitched a ride on the band bus a time or two as chaperons on LOOONG road trips such as Aztec and the like. Sure did save on gas money, lol. But no, since our son graduated from AHS in 2004 we haven't made near as many football games as we use to. Need to get back in the habit though. But make no mistake, I will be cheering for the 'Dogs at home.

I remember making it from Cruces to Artesia in a VW Bug while going to NMSU in about 2 hrs and 30 minutes back in the day. LOL

Rapid, The construction zone is only about 1-mile long and they are about completed. Paving is going on right now but the traffic flow moves pretty well, should take you just a few minutes to get through. It starts on N. Main (street light) and goes almost to Picacho where you turn right, then your about there. Have a safe trip!
