Looks like a return trip to Roswell is likely, Coyotes can make a run all the way to State.
Seeing Red again.

I think it will be Artesia vs Piedra Vista and then play Goddard in the state championsheip. I am going out on a limb I think Goddard will beat Capital and pull off the upset against Centennial, just Belen did last year. Centennial according to Mr. Lucero played in the weakest district, if that's right no wonder they are undefeated. Piedra Vista will take care of Roswell. Artesia will take care of Piedra Vista.

No we don't according to the by laws we would play PV here last years game was played in a quarterfinal and does not count as who owes who so we would be playing PV here on turkey day if everything works out right

That would be alright. Roswell did beat PV once already this year, we will see.

Agent Orange you don't work for the Government, I do. I know they change their minds all the time and there is such a thing as triplet copies and redundancies. I work for the dept of redundancy dept, LOL. No, from what I understand PV will have to travel to Artesia. They owe the bulldogs one anyway.

Artesia will have to take care of Los Lunas or St. Pius first. I think it will be St. Pius.

On the seeding show they had a panel of "experts" and they all said Centenial will win the title and would be a #2 in 6A. Dont think they will beat Artesia in the Bulldog Bowl and doubt the 6A seeding
RR got a 3 seed which is valid for the regular season but the team they have now is probably a 8 or 9 seed. They will probably play LC at home when I will be out of town. Good luck Rams, you will need it.

We won't be playing Centennial in Bulldog Bowl they are the higher seed and if we play them for the state title it will be in Cruces. Due to the new rules it goes by seeding if there is no history among the teams. Higher seed hosts.

Just for clarification: Centennial will get home field advantage throughout the playoffs. As long as they win, all games will be at home for them.

Rapid, are you talking about Goddard and Roswell's first round game or if they play the Bulldogs? Roswell and Goddard will both be hosting this weekend. Goddard on Friday and Roswell on Saturday. If Artesia meets Goddard in the playoffs, it would be in Roswell because of last year's semi-final barn burner. I am not sure the last time Roswell and Artesia met in the semi's or later, if ever???

Hmmm......seems like guest2 is up on the NMAA rules? ? (Changes would have to have taken effect this year). Can anybody confirm what he/she is saying? Artesia embarrassed PV in Artesia last year, so in the past we would be traveling to the 4 corners if we played them this year.. Regardless, I would be very careful of Roswell High on that side of the bracket. As we have seen they are big, strong and fast. Very dangerous team. Don't look past anybody!!!!!!!

I don't think coach Henderson will encourage overlooking any team
