Congratualtion Lubbock Christian University Lady Basketball Team. One of my Alma Maters... Didn't LCU use to have a nationally prominent baseball program also? Many years ago....like maybe back in the '80s? College World Series appearances and maybe a national championship or two? I don't know, maybe I'm thinking of something else.

I'm more of a fan of Lubbock, Texas but do get on the bandwagon when LCU is on the verge of greatness. What they have done on the national stage to my knowledge has been baseball and softball mostly. They won a national title in the '80's in baseball and just a few years ago in softball. Also, there is a former Bulldog on the volleyball team. Matthews(?) I believe.

Thanks for the info. Samantha Matthews! Here is a link.......... lcuchaps.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=1181&path=wvballIt says that she is 6-1.....DANG!!! That's 2 inches taller than me! I use to be 6-0 even, but due to disc degeneration in my spine that has occurred over the years, I have shrunk exactly one inch at age 57, lol.

The last time the Chaparral baseball team won the NAIA college world series was in 2009.
