I think Bulldog nation should be worried. We aren’t looking good anywhere. Offense, Defense, special teams, and yes even coaching.
I sure hope that our competition has just been good enough to make us look bad. But 5A is tougher that you think. Roswell, Goddard, Los Lunas and probably Belen all look better than us right now. Guess we’ll see in a week.

Seems like the staff needs to prepare those boys to play mentally as well as a good game plan. The defensive coordinator needs a plan to stop the run and have the players stop the pass too. Special teams need to improve. I understand Belen is a more balanced offense. Go dogs you can do this....

Landry Jones has been cut by the Steelers Ouch, didn't see that one coming. 2 young bucks behind him, so guess they wanted to move on. I would think some other team kicks the tires on him, we'll see.

Starting the season 0-2 and blowing a 37-14 lead. This is the kind of stuff that happens when your school board refuses to pay the best coaches and teachers in the state what they are worth. They bolt for greener pastures. Why do you think the un-named coach left what SHOULD have been one of the best jobs in the state? It was for the $$$$$. Look for one or more to bolt after this season. This is all on the school board in my opinion. People saying, well, they are 6A schools that we have lost to. I don't care if we are playing a top ranked 6A TEXAS school, no excuse for blowing a 37-14 lead. Sorry, but it needed to be said.

Steeler fans better hope Big Ben holds it all together this year with no injuries. If he gets hurt with the two what-evers they have backing him up they are in big trouble. Simply cannot figure out Tomlin.

The Steelers drafted a good young QB and the other is pretty good to. O did see this coming. The Steelers may sign him to the prayer time squad if he isn't picked up.
They kept the Young guns to be able to carry Yue team when Big Been does go down. They wanted a back up QB who will run when he has to.
I hate to say this but fans in Pittsburgh are happy they cut Landry. They say he has the personality of a Labrador. I love the kid big time.
As for the Bulldogs. We are fine.
Belen is different this year. I've watched. Both of their games. Their offensive line is much better than last year's. Casillas is playing at 200lbs and he looks really beefed up. The difference is they aren't running him near as much as last year. They are throwing the heck out of the ball. Their QB Aragon is a junior and throws well. They have some really good receivers with size who can go get the ball. They are trying to be much more balanced so they can pic spots to run Cassillas.

Steelers put him on the prayer squad or practice squad? lol just funny because he wants to be a preacher someday he has said, which i'm sure you know, either way too funny. Interesting insight on Belen, being 1 dimensional sure hurt them in the State Game, Dogs need to get after them this Friday, we need this win. Try and start the Belen thread tonight.
