Former Rio Rancho OT Evan Tafoya-Valo tore an ACL in practice and is out for the year for NMSU. Tafoya, as the NMSU fan board calls him, was an all state blocker for the Rams and Josh Foley in their last title season, 2016 I believe. I never met him but watched a few home games that season with his dad, a great guy. Evan was a 4.0 student in HS and is real proud of his heritage, a member of the Laguna tribe, if I remember right. Good luck on your rehab Evan and come back strong next year!
