I can see why everyone is frustrated. But it was good to comeback home for a few hours.

Well so much for having some faith. Defense is under sized, under strength, and very poorly coached. Alamogordo ran a very simple run scheme. Everything was an off tackle or zone read. Artesia had extremely poor penetration (if any) and very poor pursuit. They had an extreme amount of difficulty tackling. I think this ties into lack of strength and proper coaching. They need to figure out the defense. These teams aren't running exotic offenses and are very predictable. Probably need to change defensive schemes to suit the fact that nearly all of Artesia opponents are run first. Very disappointed in the coaches once again. Lack of preparation was very evident.

Can anyone tell me the last time we didn't win a district game? And losing at home to a 2 win team. Sad days for Bulldog football.

Only got to see the 2nd half, just a solid gut punch in the stomach. It hurts to lose this game, this is a game we shouldn't lose. If we can't stop the run the other team controlling the game, just no offense either but Alamo really shortened the game, 2nd half went fast.
not sure where we go from here.

Bad bad bad news in TTown! 1995 I believe was the last time we didn’t win a District game I believe. Will we make the playoffs? We have been greatly exposed. Even a 2-7 team figured it out.

We still make the playoffs I believe, but what seed, who knows? and maybe on the road?

The current coaching staff thought that they could coast on what LG and Cooper Henderson, Mike Phipps, and TW Harvey built here.
They were wrong!
Bulldog football is dead.

Well,,Bulldog Football may not be dead,,,but it is sure needing some resurrection,!! Obviously, something is very wrong with our defense but now I believe it is the same with the Offense. We have the #1 quarterback in the STATE plus the #2 receiver in the State but if the offensive line cannot give the quarterback enough time for him to look downfield, he ain't gonna complete very many passes.PLUS he gets sacked so many times per game anymore, he has to be contemplating a different hobby. From game one,,,I KNEW it was just a matter of time before the center snapped one over Clay's 6'4" reach,,but have we seen a "change",,,,?? I just see some very obvious lackluster performances with almost NO emotion from the players or the coaching staff. It's almost like everybody is just going thru the motions to hurry up and go home. Hard to watch a game with so very little emotion. IF I was the coach,,I would chew the first player that helped the running back up that is tearing you a new one,,,I mean,,,WTH,,,!!! If we cannot beat em,,,be nice,,??

Bulldog football is "dead" right now. Will be back. DC change will happen soon IMO. Can't believe the "Powers that Be" will let this continue. Hopefully the man will step in.

Well I’m certainly glad I decided to go watch the Roswell game instead. The scariest part of this sudden decline, is that Roswell and Goddard are obviously on the rise. They have established themselves as the states new power house town in the southeast. Could be awhile before the Dogs can get near even a District title again.

" The Man" does need to step in and make the corrections needed to re-establish the spirit that has served the Bulldogs for so many years, even if he has to re-assign his kinfolk to other responsibilities,, maybe in soccer. Two of my Sons played for Cooper and they tell me Coach demanded total commitment to the program from the players as well as the coaches, which is something they tell me they not heard from the current players since kinfolk started as HC. The "Man" is also fully aware that not all coaches can be winners. I do wish the best for the players for the rest of the season, hoping that they can come together and come from behind but from here on out,,we will facing the best of the best,,,,maybe just maybe,,,,
