They looked very good! With athletes to spare…… Still rotating 3 kids at QB. Definitely a class above the competition- Big and Fast, lots of skill - tons of talent.

The Freshmen football team with another dominant win yesterday over Clovis 42-6. After a rough start the defense created 5 turnovers if I counted correctly and a defensive TD.

Another dominate performance by the Freshmen Football team 38-0 over Carlsbad. Offense defensive and special teams all scoring today. The defense also had two safeties! The whole second half was played under a nonstop clock due to the mercy Raul being in effect.

Only 12 points allowed in the past 3 games? that's amazing.
Keep em grounded dadof4, Coach Chambers back in the day at JR High would tell us remember your not God's gift to Football ha ha. Excited too though, see how they finish up this season.

Another dominant performance 42-0 over Hobbs. Over all all aspects of their performance was strong. Defense kept Hobbs in check only allowing a couple first down. Offense moved the ball almost at will especially after the first series and the special teams kept Hobbs kick return to minimum and converted every extra point.

I sound like a broken record but dang, impressive. Going to post the schedule here on this thread. I need to come watch a game, surely you make the Border Conference Championship game, any idea if you guys would get to host it again? since you'd probably be the top seed, not sure how that's done now.

The game on the 29th against Lovington was canceled, I’m not sure how the boarder conference works these days. I think it has changed since we were in school. But once I figure it out I will let you know

Border conference is only for the 8th grade now. Too many schools use their freshmen on varsity teams these days…. Imagine if the freshmen were at AHS, we would have about 160 kids 9-12! Still like what we do, 2 teams at 8th, 2 at 9th, Sophomore team and a JVA team. Lots of Bulldogs getting ready for Varsity play! Future is bright Bulldog fans… just wait and see!

Freshmen football wraps up with another undefeated season winning boarder conference both years! This year they scored 233 points and only allowed 18 points! I believe the defense only allowed 40 points both their 8th and 9th grade seasons combined! Bulldog football future is bright!

That's crazy, congrats to them boys and coaches. Looking forward to seeing them on Friday Nights. Yes, congrats to the boys and coaches! The future of Bulldog Football looks bright for sure! And a thought that just occurred to me, for whatever that's worth..........We have a chance at something here that hasn't happened since the 1960s. If we can take state this year (2022) and next year (2023).....and from what I have seen and heard so far, our chances this year and next year are as good as they have ever been. And THEN comes the 2024 and 2025 seasons....that is this years sophomores and freshmen....and with what those 2 classes have done this year, WHOA NELLY! Dare I say 4-Peat? Something that has not been done since the 1960s........1966, 1967, 1968, 1969. Just a thought that I probably should have kept to myself, some things are OK to think about but not say out loud, lol.
