I found this site this morning...... lonestarfootball.net/index.aspI was looking around Dan Ford's site where he has football scores for all New Mexico teams going back to the early 1950s. That started me to wondering if I could find something similar for Texas high school football. I found the site that I linked above. Just pick whichever classification you want at the top in red, then click on a team. If you go all the way to the right side of the page you can view previous seasons schedules and scores for any given team. A lot of these go all the way back to the 1920s and even further. I just thought this was pretty cool so I wanted to pass it along.

I pulled up the 1960 schedule for Lake Worth TX. lonestarfootball.net/team.asp?action=schedule&T=1092&S=1960Notice a familiar team on their schedule? Put a real butt whoopin' on Lake Worth! Oh yeah, the winners are listed on the left by the way. I have known about this game for a while. Lake Worth is a suburb of Ft. Worth. Still would be interesting to find out what the story was behind that game. Why it was played. I never have heard.

I lived in Azle for a year. Drove through Lake Worth many times. Always wondered about the school mascot, though. Would you have liked playing for the Lake Worth Bullfrogs?
