He had 5 picks last night! That HAS to be a new "single game" school record. But I'm not really sure.........
Sadly, the records section of last years game program does not have a category for single game INTs. There is a category for INTs in a SEASON, and that record is held by J. D. Champion. He had 12 in 1994. Heck, Trevor had almost half that many last night!
Anybody have access to the AHS "single game" INT record?

Being an Old Dog Secondary Coach I cannot think of anyone having that many in a single game. Heck that is Career Stats for some dang good DB'S from the past

Amazing night for Trevor Whitmire last night. 5 INTs in a game is quite a feat. It's great to see a DB in Artesia breaking on the ball and finishing with a pick. The INT is such a momentum changer and can put the offense in a great position to score. Keep it up Trevor, and good luck to you and the rest of the Mighty Bulldogs 2011 edition. J.D. Champion

As far as I know, 5 is probably the AHS single game record. I don't recall ever seeing any stats of that category officially kept. I had 3 in back to back games in 1994, but nobody ever mentioned the single game record. Whatever the record, Trevor is right up there. Great job #32.

I think the New Mexico state record is 6 in a game. The most I ever saw in a game was 4. Amazing job, Mr. Whitmire!
