If there is anything wrong, just post me a message and I will try and get it changed. I made this off of the Lovington program handout from last friday night. There could be some errors ... not sure.

Wow! We had 45 seniors alone on the varsity roster the year I played and over 80 total. Can soemone shed some light as to why the numbers have steadily decreased over the last few years?

I believe that other sports - soccer, cross country, swimming, etc., as well as young men who think they should concentrate on one sport ie. basketball or baseball because someone has convinced them they will go D1 in the other sport as long as that is all they focus on are some of the reasons for the downturn in numbers.
The jr and sophmore classes are much larger in terms of athletes out for football and the 8th and 9th grade have good numbers as well so we should see an uptick in the numbers over the next couple of years. Tough to see so few out for football in Bulldog country, but it will come back!

Went and saw the 9th grade scrimmage against Alamogordo and the 8th grade scrimmage against yucca/marshall from clovis. pretty big kids on the 9th grade and the 8th grade kids oh man they have some good size alot bigger than the 9th grader. They all should be good next 3 to 5 from now.my nephew on the 9th grade orange team should be tough by the time they get to High School.
