Yes NF has several songs worth listening to. I'm not a rap fan but hear him occasionally at Christian concerts and on Christian radio. Good message, conscientious artist.

what do you think of this cover of cranberries zombie by Bad Wolves? I like the heavy beat, figure I might use it for Highlights. The singer was supposed to provide the vocals for it but she died on the day she was schedule to do it.

The off season is here, has been for while actually. Time to bring this old thread up again.....all the way from page 3.
Could this possibly be the the best song ever recorded......greatest song of all time.....whatever you want to call it? Not many songs give me chills. This one certainly does! Beautiful song and video by Foreigner. The song was released in 1984. I have probably watched this video at least 100 times over the last year, just now getting around to posting it on here.......

The first football game is this coming Friday, so I thought I would get this final non-football post in before the season officially starts.
Do we have any Queen fans out there? Anybody see the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody" starring Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury that was released November of last year? I am a HUGE Queen fan! I also drove to Roswell with my wife......and son & daughter-inlaw.....to see "Bohemian Rhapsody" when it first came out. I loved the movie.......we ALL did!!!
I had this beautiful video sent to me by my brother-inlaw.....via facebook......about 3 days ago. Original Queen guitarist Brian May (showing his age) playing in Japan, in 2014 I believe. The Japanese crowd gets really emotional during this performance, kind of "makes" this video work so well.....just my weird opinion I guess. OH! And there is a surprise ending, so make sure you watch it all the way to the end. Adam Lambert is mentioned in the title of the video, not sure why.....Brian May is the one playing acoustic. This is really beautiful!!!

Just my opinion........but the original version of "Zombie" by Dolores O'Riordan and "The Cranberries" was much, MUCH better!!!!! If I were going to use this song for a Highlight Video......as you mentioned.......I would use the ORIGINAL version by the Cranberries! But that is just MY opinion! The original version is much better than this rip-off. Again.......JMHO!

I'll do a few highlight videos i'm sure, also thought about just getting a offensive and defensive highlight play for the facebook/twitter when I don't do a highlight, when I want something quick and easy.

............OK everybody, time to post up!!! As for me, I will only be posting songs that I just can NOT get enough of. You can rest assured that anything I post I have already listened to countless times......and in some cases HUNDREDS of times. Post whatever you like! Just because I absolutely detest Country Music and Rap doesn't mean that somebody else won't enjoy it. This should be really interesting, because a person's taste in music can be a great indicator as to what kind of personality they have. I just turned 58 years old in May of this year......the only reason I mentioned that fact is because it might give you an idea of "where I am coming from" when you see some of my favorite music. Age just gives perspective, I guess that's what I was trying to say. Anyway, here are some of MY favorites......hope y'all will join in! I am almost embarrassed to admit that KISS was one of my favorite bands in the late 1970s. I had the privilege of seeing them in concert not once.....but twice.....when I was attending college in Abilene TX way back in the stone ages. I have since discovered that their music was not that great (massive understatement) and that there are WAY better bands out there. But KISS did put out a few awesome songs.....this one for example......can't remember right off the top of my head what the other one was, lol. Anyway, here is a great one by KISS. I have probably listened to this one at least 10 times over the last few days..... Why did I not see this thread before? Guess it has to do with turning the big 40 and some. Don't be embarrassed, I am a HUGE KISS fan! Since 1980 when I saw the Dynasty album cover at our local K-Mart. Seen them 4 times. In 96 on their reunion tour, 2000 on their farewell tour, in 2010 for their Alive 35 tour and in Phoneix during their monsters of rock tour. Have the first 14 albums on vinyl including the solo projects. Going to see KISS in Albuquerque on September 11..... Saw them once in Irvine, CA in 1996....

Anybody remember Alan Parsons? He and his group "The Alan Parsons Project" were huge back when I was in college......1976-1980. Quite a few of my college friends had his albums. I may have one somewhere, not really sure. The term "musical genius" has been used more than once when talking about his talents.
And YES...........That is the Chicago Bulls theme song. Alan Parsons wrote it!!!

Hard to believe that "Meat Loaf" has been gone for just a little over a year now. His real name was Michael Lee Aday. He passed away on 1-20-22, just over a year ago. This is one of my favorite "Meat Loaf" songs........he absolutely HATED it when people spelled his name as one word....Meatloaf.....he absolutely hated that.....heard that he hated it in an interview that he did. Anyways, Here is Meat Loaf singing one of my favorite songs with Karla DeVito. Karla is such a sweetheart.......she is still alive and is married to Robby Benson.........
And here is Karla DeVito on "Late Night With David Letterman".......circa 1882..........
