If you're coming from Eunice, you will see the lights at the edge of town. If coming from Seminole take a right at Mustang and take the circle around about 3/4 of a mile.

I'm coming in from Eunice, coming to my granddaughter graduation at Andrews High School and other family members on May the 24th. Is the Graduations at the high School or at the stadium. Thank you

Stadium. Who is your granddaughter, Roy? I think it starts at 7:30pm, 6:30 your time. It will be off to your left at the first intersection, by all the construction. Look for the stadium lights.

They tell a tale that Artesia admin visited Andrews in the years leading up to construction of Bulldog Bowl, and that Artesia modeled Bulldog Bowl after Mustang Bowl. It's believable.

That is not a tale......it is the truth. Artesia was looking to build a new stadium (Bulldog Bowl) and admin and some coaches were told by somebody.........hey, you should go look at Mustang Stadium in Andrews. They liked what they saw. Lots of similarities between the 2 stadiums. But pretty sure Bulldog Bowl is nicer. Was in Andrews 10-15 years ago and I stopped and looked through the fence at Mustang Stadium. Definitely reminds one of Bulldog Bowl.

Actually it was not Andrews they went to it was Amarillo. Also the Bowl was supposed to be deeper but the caliche put a stop to it.

No idea. I wasn't around in the early sixties. There are people in Andrews that remember the chain of events. I have heard that about the caliche.
