Mexican we played Tight Cover 1 and beat on receivers and ran Timmy to sidelines all day long I heard that! He ran from one sideline the other sideline all night long. I think we held him to 35 yds, and he was begging his coach to take him out of the game in the 3rd quarter.

Yeah, bdogfan and Crisptsdad,,,I too remember those years of Timmy Smith and Mickey Reeves,,,,but I also remember how one Friday night in Bulldog Bowl,,,how the great defense of that year shut down that highly vaunted running back from Hobbs America,,,! I don't remember exactly how "Few" yards Timmy finally got for the night, but the Daily Press stated "Bulldog DEFENSE shuts down Hobbs Running Game",,,,UMMmmm,,did I say DEFENSE,, Talking about the daily Press,,,when they went belly up a couple of weeks ago, I called The Roswell Record and The Current Argus for home delivery,,,but I changed my mind,,,cause I hate reading about how very bad we are getting outplayed this year. Something is very wrong in this year's organization and I sure hope Cooper sticks to his farewell statement when he handed over the reins,,"I'm going to keep my eye on the Bulldogs program, and if need be, I will not hesitate to step in to help. I think it's time, Cooper, I think it's time. I've not kept up with the Daily Press, other than noting that the online edition doesn't get updated too often. So, when you say the ADP went "belly up a couple of weeks ago," what exactly do you mean?
Has the paper gone out of business?
The paper only comes out in Print on Thursday now I think, otherwise it's online only with a subscription. loss of advertising dollars was the main reason I believe. I only know cause I saw it posted on social media. Sign of the times ?

You're right, Agent,,I was just being facetious bout them going belly up, LOl They only print on Thursdays and Sundays but no deliveries. Their online edition is susspossed to be available same as the paper was before the "streamlining". I do not like to read news online, so I have not registered for the online edition, besides, it is more money per week than the hard copy was,,LOl
