Hopefully I am wrong although I really have have a gut feeling that the morale is weak and the boys will need to be more motivated from what I can tell.

Ok Nobody I appreciate your answer. I am no Lobo fan or Rocky Long fan. You still didn't address the military obligation so we are going to have to agree to disagree. Thanks for all of your coaching at the Naval Academy and congrats on all of your accomplishments. Go Falcons!

Five years obligation for a $250,000 plus education and during that next five years you have a guaranteed job and an Academy education... never had a problem selling that. And after that five years you become one of the top wage earners in the country. NOT a tough sell either.... Naval Academy #2, West Point $9, and Air Force Academy #14. I can't find UNM on the list. Naval Academy football now 9-2, Air Force Academy 10-2, and West Pont 5-7. UNM finished 2-10 and played in front of 500 people yesterday.

I am just as fallible as anyone else....especially when it comes to this crazy game called football...my opinion carries no more merit than anyone else... lots of ways of doing things... too many variables...that's what makes it interesting though.... but I do have strong opinions.

Yeah, I know. And I knew that this would be your response. That is why I said that your opinions were to be ......"respected, even if not agreed with"......and NOT agreed with 100% and never questioned.

I do think that a volunteer like Mr nobody to help coaches would be excellent. I think they would respond. It is my opinion that they are not responding to their coach

I Knew it,,,!! I Knew it sure as shooting,,,!! I'm kinda uneasy about calling you by your chosen handle,,,So, I'm gonna refer to you as Mr. 45,if that's ok with you? Our #2 son chose #45 as his jersey because of you. I just spoke to him yesterday in Florida and his first question to me when I told him you now lived in C-bad was,,,,"Is he gonna apply for the HC job" I'm sure glad you decided to settle close to home,,but Carlsbad,,?? Just kidding, Lol. WELCOME HOME, #45, WELCOME HOME,,,,

From afar, I've been recommending that the AHS administration bring in "Nobody" to at the very least consult the football program. And when I made my posts on this board a few weeks ago, i wasn't even aware that "Nobody" was who i was really referring to.
We all just read above a small portion of his resume....I've been aware of his qualifications for 3 decades... I'd say he is more than qualified to consult the program in areas like: 1. Off-season training 2. Nutrition/hydration/etc.. 3. Any and all phases of Offense, Defense, and Special Teams.
What he doesn't know, i'm sure a call into Gary Patterson, Dennis Erickson, and or multiple others he has been around... and bingo, a WEALTH of up to date info/knowledge.
Time to act if you wanna win!

My 4 year old Grandson is a fanatic about the 2017 State Championship video that Agent Orange (Love that avatar) posted. He wants to watch it at least 10-15 times on his weekend here,,! You can watch that video and see a remarkable difference in the attitude and diligence (sp) of Both the offense and defense to what we saw this year. When we played Capital, you could see a glimmer of the 2017 attitude. In fact the announcers, both from Santa Fe, kept commenting about how the Bulldog defense would "SWARM THE BALL" every play. (their words) You just did NOT see that killer attitude against Los Lunas and they capitalized on that very thing. I have no clue how everybody else feels, but I am going to follow Twins23Dad's lead and voice my opinions to the AHS Administration as well as Cooper about the obvious need for an individual with the qualifications like Mr.45. An individual that the kids will follow to the last second of every game, and bust their azz on every play,,!! Something has been missing in our field house in the last 2-3 years,,,,maybe too dang many talented kids being lost to soccer for some reason or other. I DO know we need help,,,,,,

Have it framed in my house. Next to my dad, coach Phipps is most responsible for my success in life. I would run through a brick wall for that man.

Bringing back the Black uniforms "could' be a way of getting some energy and swag back into the program. It certainly wouldn't hurt in my opinion... Seeing that pic brings back lots of memories. It also popped another idea into my head... Why not get Nobody, Coach Phipps, and Coach Allen together and have those 3 consult with the AHS admin on ideas on how to get things back on track??? CULTURE, character, and work ethic are what i think of when I remember those days. Most games were won before the game even started. I had college teammates tell me how intimidated they were when they saw the Bulldogs come out in those black uniforms. How scared they were when they saw the off season numbers on the wall of the visiting locker room. In those days AHS was probably the only program in the state that had an off season strength and conditioning program. Toughness and Culture were a staple of Bulldog football.
No better place to start when looking to getting back to winning ways than to go to those 3 and ask for advice, opinion, plans, etc......
Bringing back the Black would be a great way to re-set some things...
Again, my 2 cents from afar...
