I wonder if they start playing in August again. I miss fall sports. Hopefully defense will be much, much, much improved

I wonder if they start playing in August again...... Oh Wow! Hadn't thought of that. At some point there is going to be a very short turn-around, when and if we ever get back to normal. Just a few short months between the end of this season and the next season. The kids should still be in relatively good condition though. Finish the season, then pretty much go right back into 2 a days again, lol.

I don't see why we wouldn't start in august next year, I think we should just have delayed the start of the season this year a little and see what happens around the country and get on with it. Seems to be going ok so far.
but yeah most likely a quick turn around, pretty much affect the junior class that will return, so hopefully no major injuries in the spring cause that could carry over into the next season if it'significant enough.
One thing I don't know of, if anyone out there knows but is there going to be a soph season? and 8th and 9th grade football? haven't heard anything about what will happen there. If no soph season, would we have all those kids on the varsity roster? I would think so. This will be interesting, I dreamed of my son playing bulldog football since day 1, he sure will be going through it at a interesting time, this is unprecedented, but again try to make the best of it, but will be nothing like a traditional season and turn around that we are accustomed too.

I ran into Coach Davis this past Thursday, I asked him about the Jr High as my son plays on the 9th grade team. He said they’ll have their football season in March.

Basektball season will start first, just depends how deep we go into each sport for playoffs, then football, then baseball, could overlap a couple weeks or so I believe if you make it far enough in the playoffs, and baseball season will end in late June so it's pushed out a little.
I don't think it will be too big of a problem, at least that's what I'm thinking as of now.
