Well off-season mode. Post stories, funny memes, or whatever really until football starts up again, steer away from controversial stuff (politics) I'm sure you guys heard John Madden passed away. I never knew him as a coach, but obviously a good one, but thankful I knew him as an announcer and of course his involvement on the Madden Football video game. I missed the special they had of him on Christmas Day, but I believe it supposed to air again, crazy that he passed a few days later.

I watched him coach the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XI to a 32-14 victory over the Vikings. Was in my first year of college in 1977, and watched the game at my aunt & uncle's house in Dallas.....remember it like it was yesterday. I remember how animated he was on the side-lines, not just in that Super Bowl but EVERY game! I can still see him on field screaming at officials and flailing his arms all over the place. He could really get fired up! He made the game so much fun to watch. Short video I found............ Edit: Thought I messed up the video. You can still watch the video, you just have to click on the video where it says...watch on Youtube. Sorry about that.

now Dan Reeves. www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32972670/dan-reeves-former-nfl-coach-player-dies-77I remember him as a coach, I'm sure you Cowboy fans remember him as a player. I liked John Elway growing up, always rooted for those broncos in the super bowl, never could win until years later and Reeves had left, Broncos beat his Falcons in the Super Bowl. He never could win the big one, but to get there so many times, he was a good coach no doubt.
