Football winding down.
Anybody's favorite team still left?
AFC Buffalo vs KC looking forward to watching that game. Like to see Buffalo make it and finally win one, I like the way Josh Allen plays the game.
NFC- I despise the Packers, but they look to be the best team, but do you ever count out Tom Brady?

My Cowboys are done.....play calling that stupid doesn't deserve to advance in the playoffs anyway. So I am a Buffalo Bills fan from here on out. Did you see that Buffalo/New England game? Dang! Hoping for a Buffalo/Green Bay Super Bowl.....and hoping for Green Bay to get knocked off just so I can see all those Packer tears! My Cowboys won't do anything until Jerry is gone, I am convinced of that.

I think you know crispy, those who don't, I'm not a Dallas fan, but the rest of my family is, I'm the black sheep, so whoever plays Dallas is my 2nd favorite team lol.
At least the Dallas/SF game was entertaining, I watched some of the others but when it was apparent they were going to be blowouts I tuned out. I'm not a fan of Mike McCarthy as a Head Coach either, I think Aaron Rodgers carried his teams, if I was them I'd let him go and promote Dan Quinn to HC or Kellen Moore seems like they might lose one of them.
Highest Paid Qb's in the league. Pat Mahomes 45 Million Josh Allen 43 Million Dak Prescott 40 Million
Which one of these don't belong? I like Prescott as a player but I don't think he's worth that much. What can I say though my team the Bears have screwed up the Qb position so bad, could not believe we signed Andy Freaking Dalton last year, glad we cleaned house.

I'm rooting for any team not named Tampa Bay, and for any quarterback not named Brady.
That said, I'd like to see Green Bay win it all; if not the Packers, then I'm rooting for the Chiefs and Mahomes, since the latter played at Texas Tech.

Not a Brady fan Rick, you think he's a cheater or just tired of him winning? I think Brady been amazing, I think him and the pats did some shady stuff alright but he's still the best I think, just won too many games time after time and then went to another team and still won. To do what he's doing at his age at such a high level, it's insane. Guy has taken care of himself and his body though very well, something to be said about that. I like Mahomes, think a lot of others around here do as well for the Texas Tech connection. Never knew he'd be that good in the league though. To think the Bears could have drafted him instead of Mitch ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tom Brady might be the best football player to ever play the game. - and I’m a Steelers fan. Have you guys been watching “Man in the Arena”? In a world of ME first, Brady is the ultimate team player, and makes everyone around him better.

No I haven't watched it yet but I plan too. He takes a deep pay cut, allows them to sign other players, not like he needs money but still I think that's a huge benefit.

I admire Brady's skills, longevity and dedication to his profession. He's a great player, and he's not a jerk.
But -- and I hate admitting this -- I just think he's won enough Super Bowls (wink, nudge).

I generally wear two caps - Cowboys or Broncos. I still have a Cowboys Super Bowl shirt from 1993 that I wear occasionally. Hoping to get a new one some year. But how ‘bout them Cowboys? Well, They Tore Out My Heart and Stomped That Sucker Flat. That last play will go down in history like the Leon Lett attempt to recover a blocked field goal in the end zone. The SF game should not have come down to that play. Dallas was sluggish the whole first half.
I like Andy Reid and Mahomes chances of taking it all. Seems like they come up with a new play every game that just seems to deflate defenses.

Good games today. Both 1 Seeds go down by last second field goals. surprised packers lost this one, but I knew Robbie Gould would make that kick, ex Bear should have never let him go Setup pretty good I think for Brady to get back to the Superbowl.

3 out of the 4 scheduled games for this weekend are complete........and all 3 games won on a last second field goal. You kidding me??? Wonder what the odds are it happens in the one game left to be played? That would be crazy!

Chiefs vs Bills wow great game, both those quarterbacks put on a show, shame either one had to lose.

Yeah lots of talk about the overtime rules today.
On one show they said team that wins the toss is 10-1. One guy said, which I like is just play 1 extra quarter, don't want to see college ot rules.
Would have been nice to see Josh Allen try to match, see which guy blinks first.

The NFL has lots of stupid rules, its OT format in particular -- too detailed. I wish it would adopt the format New Mexico prep teams play under (start at the 10-yard line, four downs, no first downs. Either score or give up the ball). And each team gets at least one offensive possession.

Just more thoughts:
NFL Overtime
It’s not a new game. Team LOSING opening game coin toss chooses to play offense or defense in OT (5th quarter).
15 minutes or until one team leads after each has at least one possession.
No kickoffs
No punts
Teams start from own 30 (also after change in possession.)
If both teams score TDs or field goals or don’t score on first possession (tie score) then next team that scores wins.
2 point PATS only
If tied at end of OT (quarter 5) winner is determined by Total Yards/Time of possession - In effect a TKO.
