I don't remember any Bulldog injuries last Friday night. Checked the roster and found out that he is a Sophomore. Did this happen at a JV game? Also, what position does he play?
And best wishes for a quick recovery! Doctors these days are miracle workers. He'll be back on the field before you know it!

Heard he won't be able to do anything sportswise for 6 months.

He was down on sideline and in great deal of pain, don't remember just what happened but it was on north end, close to 15 yard line. I thought he was just having a cramp and they moved him pretty quick to get game going. He came out 2nd half on crutches and ice pack on knee.

Talked to him at the JV game tonight. He has a great attitutde about rehab. He's going to hit the rehab hard and the weights to beef up for his return. Hopefully he can play baseball next spring. He's a heck of a centerfielder. He was our Varsity starter last year as Freshman.

From Mama Pittam:
"Zane is out of surgery & Everything went great! He couldn't bend & straighten his knee cuz the ACL remnant was flipped up under his knee cap! He does have cartilage damage that concerns him long term but nothing that can be done now...just might have to have knee replacement @ 40!!!"
Now the real work begins!
