So where's the rest of team? I thought there needed to be 11 on the soccer field maybe I'm wrong, all my kids played soccer I enjoyed watching them play but I haven't fully understood it. I know that one of my son's became the kicker on his football team and he learned to kick while in soccer.

They aren't bad grandma Your right bdogfan a full sided soccer game is played with 11, but at their age, 8 year olds, most games are 4 v 4 or 5 v 5. As I said in another thread we played league soccer in Carlsbad against some 9 & 10 year olds, in those we played 6 v 6. So just like the bulldogs we like to seek out tough competition, we get beat pretty good at times but in the end it makes us that much tougher when we do play kids our own age and in tournaments. We've played together for a year, it's amazing how much they have progressed in that time.
