Nice interview. He's always been known to outwork his competition. I hope my last year of being an Oklahoma fan is a great one.

Nice interview. He's always been known to outwork his competition. I hope my last year of being an Oklahoma fan is a great one.[/size] Boy, did you ever hit the nail right on the head.......just like Charliedog said! I am in the very same boat! In fact, I posted on here a while back that I have often wondered if I will still be a Sooner fan after Landry leaves. TODAY I am the world's biggest Sooner fan. But I was not a Sooner fan until Landry gave his verbal to OU. I was a HORN fan! But over the past 4 years I have learned to hate the Horns as much as ANY Sooner fan. Not sure I could EVER go back to rooting for the Horns again even after Landry leaves. It is that bad! I may have to find a totally different team to root for. Maybe Tech......or Notre Dame. I have always loved the Irish! But who knows, maybe this OU thing will stick after Landry leaves...but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't. Funny, and kind of hard to explain...but a part of me almost wants OU to fail miserably after Landry leaves. Has a lot to do with all the Sooner fans wanting Landry benched after every game and wanting Blake Bell as the starter. Nothing against Blake Bell personally, but I kind of hope that he is a bust. And OH YEAH, I will still be reading the Sooner message boards even after Landry is gone, lol. But as for whether or not I will still be a Sooner fan 5 years from now........guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I've been a Longhorn fan for a longgggggg time, just too hard to root against Landry though, so when he goes, I'll be back with the burnt orange! Going to watch UT play Baylor in October for my first game in Austin, my son got his bachelor degree @ Baylor and masters @ UT, he is a Bear forever though. He loved RGIII, but he is a cowgirl fan too, said he hoped RGIII didn't sign with eagles or redskins! LOL I've got him a RGIII redskin jersey, sure he will love it! LOL What will really suck is if Landry ends up with cowgirls! LOL

Surprised you guys preferred UT over Texas Tech. Folks in Albuquerque would be shocked to learn that not every household east of Carrizozo and south of I-40 worships the Red and Black.
Of course, they also ignore the fact that places like Gallup and Farmington are more Arizona-loyal than they are to the in-state schools, but I digress.....
