If you can get one in Artesia or nearby, I'd recommend it. They have a nice AP story with color photo of Landry in today's paper.
I'm not sure if you can get one in Artesia, but I know the Journal can be bought in Carlsbad. I would think, however, that one of the convenience stores in Artesia would have a "box" out front to see the Journal.

Another day, another Bulldog. Dallas Bollema was featured in a staff-written article in the Wednesday Journal (on him and Joe Stoner, the two main LB's at UNM).

Good article on Landry. Maybe one of these days the callers to 610AM "The Sports Animal" will let the fact that Landry didnt pick UNM go and stop with the comments like "he is dead to me". This came up with the to ic of whether the state should honor Landry if he wins the Heisman. Eric Gee criticized Landry for his year last year, I guess he forgot about Broyles being hurt. I called and supported him.

This came up with the to ic of whether the state should honor Landry if he wins the Heisman. Eric Gee criticized Landry for his year last year, I guess he forgot about Broyles being hurt. I called and supported him. Sorry I missed that discussion. I would have lit Erik up for criticizing Landry, not to mention any fools who still hold a grudge five years later. I actually like Erik personally, but I will say this. He comes from a station now owned by Citadel, which also owns a station in Norman/OKC that people are really starting to hate if they're OU fans. They had a monopoly on the sports talk market until the last couple of years, and their OU-alumni hosts try WAY too hard to "not be OU homers." Now that station in the OKC area has pretty much gotten fat and arrogant about how they've "got" the OU fans and take shots at them. They've also bent over backwards to coddle the OSU fan base, even hiring two very biased OSU types to host. It's no wonder that OU fans are dropping them like flies and switching to a different station that includes two ex-OU superstars and the main recruiting and OU sports guru in the entire OKC media market.
