I've heard all kinds of different things, one guy says he's not been impressive other guy says otherwise. Some say 2nd to 3rd round, one guys says he may slide to the 5th.
It just takes 1 team to believe in you, decent Qb's usually don't last too long in the draft, I think he can move up certainly in the draft, don't see him sliding down any lower than the 4th round.

It seemed to me watching the practices, etc. on NFL Network that even Mayock may be warming up to him a little. Jeremiah was fairly complimentary after the first 2 days, but walked it back a little later when he said the QBs would probably go by the second round. We'll see how the rest of the practices and the game goes. Hopefully Landry will be on and relaxed and put on a good show. They seemed impressed he didn't need a cheat sheet on his arm at yesterday's practice, but I could have misread what they were saying.
"People" talk about how Landry is "all over the place" but that describes the tweeters, bloggers and talking heads to a T. Everyone sees him through their own prejudiced eyes and I have to admit my glasses do have a little orange/crimson tinge.

He a good interview on the NFL Network Thursday Night, I was going to record and upload it but I didn't. I haven't seen it online.
He was funny, and did a good job answering some of their tough questions. They mentioned he also called the coaches of the Senior Bowl 2 weeks in advance to get the playbook so he could be familiar with the plays, Mike Mayock said he's never heard of any guy doing that and he thought that was pretty cool.

Randall, this may be the one you are talking about..... www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-senior-bowl/0ap2000000130577/NFL-can-t-come-sooner-for-JonesI wanted to post this video last night, but it's not a youtube video so I couldn't figure out how to embed it, lol. I guess I could have just posted the link (like I just did) but decided not to because I kept having trouble viewing the video. Half the time it would say that the video was no longer available, but when I refreshed the page there it was! Sometimes had to refresh 2 or 3 times to get the video to come up. And even then when I finally got it to play it would hesitate really bad and the audio cuts in and out. I looked for it on youtube to see if maybe there was a better version but I didn't find anything. Not sure why the video is acting up, if it's my computer or something else. I hardly ever have problems viewing videos but this one gave me problems for some reason.

ehhh not so great 3-9 for 16 yards, sacked once or twice I believe.
Hard to judge him off an All Star game, as the senior bowl week went on it seems most people had nothing but good things to say, and thinks he could be a good draft choice. I will say this, he definitely helped himself by participating in the senior bowl, didn't hurt him one bit.

Randall, I hope you are correct but I was really worried that his performance tonight might have hurt his draft stock. MAN, I hope that you are right and I am wrong!

Yeah I do, nfl coaches got to see him practice and make throws in practice, scouts were their interviewing him and preparing him for the process.
If they lower their draft stock on Landry over 9 pass attempts in a exhibition football game those scouts won't be scouts long, you gotta look at the whole picture how he practices and prepares. If you heard mayock talking throughout the game he was disappointed in geno smith the supposedly #1 qb in the draft for declining the senior bowl.
Landry didn't have a great game, but his time was certainly limited but overall I believe he had a great week and showing. I also believe towards the end of the game mayock believed landry would come off the board before ej manual who was mvp of the game.So I don't think it hurt it at all by his game performance. It seems Landry will be a picked in the 2nd or 3rd round the more and more I hear.
I'm not trying to be a homer either but he got his name out there, even a few guys on my bears message board brought him up, never heard them mention him at any other time before.

I didnt watch any of the weeks practice or game, wife got a knee replaced so I had to take care of her, but in the past I remember the game comentators saying a player could only help himself in the game, not get hurt status wise. They also said a lot of the scouts dont even stay around to watch the game. I predict Landry to be drafted no later than mid 2nd round,

So, what's left? Bulldog football, DONE! College football season, DONE! Bowl season, DONE! Senior Bowl, DONE! I guess that the next big event to mark down in the calendar is April 25-27. Randall, maybe we should start a countdown clock, lol.

If you read the so called experts he is predicted anywhere from a Late 1st round to a middle 5th round. All that the position matters is the amount of money on first contract. He will have a long career in NFL and will do just fine
