Crispysdad - What is next? I will be watching to see who the next HC is going to be in Roswell, if the 'dogs are going to make any adjustments on the defensive side of the ball in football for next season. I will continue watching the 'dogs on the I-net play basketball and watching what other mistakes Jerry Jones to continue the downfall of the Cowboys. I look forward to Texas Tech football with their new HC and staff. Meanwhile, hopefully the 49er win the superbowl. For the summer hopefully the Texas Rangers or the New York Yankees make it to the world series.

If you read the so called experts he is predicted anywhere from a Late 1st round to a middle 5th round. All that the position matters is the amount of money on first contract. He will have a long career in NFL and will do just fine That's why I hope he is picked fairly high, just seems their is more security in being a 2nd or 3rd rounder over a 5th round pick or later. 2nd-4th Round QB still makes a lot of money from what I've seen. Here are some contracts from Qb's taken last year. 2nd Round Brock Osweiler, Denver 4 Years= 3.1 Million Osweiler will receive a $390,000 salary this year; $480,000 in 2013; $570,000 in 2014 and $660,000 I don't believe that includes his signing bonus of $997,584 3rd Round Nick Foles, Eagles 4 years=2.1 Million, a signing bonus of $543,520 4th Round Kirk Cousins Redskins 4 years=2.5 Million Signing Bonus $472,688 I don't think these NFL contracts are guaranteed though, if your cut in pre-season I don't think you earn any of that, except maybe the signing bonus, pretty unusual for 2-4th rounder to get cut in the first year though I would say. That's a lot of money even if your just holding a clipboard.

Yes, that signing bonus is money for thier autograph, whether they ever play a down or not. Redskins got a heck of a deal with Cousins, even though they had "thier man", he will do things in NFL if given a chance. Never heard of Osweiler? LOL
