Both NM teams make the big dance, winning their conference tournaments. These schools don't always represent on the football field but usually do on the court.

NMSU goes down 64-44 today.
Lobos up later.

Lobos will go the sweet 16 and that's all. Just my prediction...

Typical Lobos. I expected that they would win, but the fact that they lost this game does not surprise me in the least. If any team is capable of pulling off a massive choke job on a national stage it is UNM.

The Lobos ate the big one? Breaks my heart.
Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!

Both teams really disappointed, I figured NMSU would give St. Louis a game, and Harvard controlled the whole game against UNM, pretty disappointing. March Madness is done for me.

I can't wait to see Arizona rout Harvard by 30 points. If Harvard goes down by 30 to Arizona, Lobo fans will go ballistic! Lobo fans have been talking all week long about how they were going to beat Arizona, COMPLETELY overlooking Harvard. If the team that beat the Lobos (Harvard) gets blown out by Arizona that will just be adding insult to injury! The Red Menace will be a very interesting place if that happens! I really do like the Lobos, it's just their fans that I can't stand. It will be fun to watch them melt down if Arizona blows out Harvard.

Steve Alford will leave Unm to coach UCLA, after given a hefty contract from unm, no comparison to UCLA tradition but he loses to Harvard in the 1st round, he can hit the road.

Greedy fella. I'm sure Alford's agent was whispering in his ear. We'll see how long he lasts at UCLA.
These D-1 coaches are loyal only to whichever school is willing to overpay them the most.
