I heard a rumor that more kids walked out before 2-a-days. Any truth to this rumor?

Was anyone at the short 2-a-days session? Whats up with that by the way?? I was able to watch some of 2-a-days. The practices were high tempo and energy. They were short lived and only in shorts as they were Monday 8/5, Tuesday 8/6, and Wednesday 8/7 as school started this year on 8/8 which seemed unusually early. But, with their first action, the scrimmage against Onate not being held until next Thursday, 8/22, and their first game not until 8/30 in Lovington, the Bulldogs will have had two full weeks plus three days of practice before the scrimmage and 4 full weeks of practice before their first game. I am ready for some Bulldog football and I believe these young men are getting hungry for some live action! GO BULLDOGS - TAKE STATE!!!

Im looking forward to this year!!! Im looking forward to seeing the kids that want to be on that field put forth their best effort. Im VERY glad the self deserving bad attitudes showed their ugly faces and they weeded themselves out! Our numbers are pathetic this year. The new posters look like we have more cheerleaders than players. Bottom line is, if you want something in this life you have to WORK for it! The kids that are on that field will know by the end of the year what it feels like to work for something and what it feels like to EARN something. Somebody on here asked if it was about the kids anymore? HELL YES it is. It is also about instilling a work ethic into these kids and encourage them to work hard and earn their rewards. The world is an evil place that will chew you up and spit you out. If you have a bad attitude and aren't willing get back up when the world kicks you in the crotch and spits on you when you are down, well then life is gonna be hard and mommy and daddy will not be around forever to hold your hand! This program teaches so much about life in general, its not even funny. The best part about it, is that you have the whole town behind you!
There is a saying that was in the locker room when i played. It read:
"you only have one chance in your life to do something, what you do now, you do once and for all!"
So good luck boys! Play hard and have fun! These days are limited, but they will prepare you for the rest of your life!
This is such a fitting video for the upcoming season!

bulldogbooster45, you will touch a nerve with that kind of talk, but I love it. Very well-said. Numbers for the sake of numbers don't matter.
