Didn't know what to put this under. What is y'all's input on a semi pro football team here in Eddy County? I have owned and been the head coach for the Curry County Cats out of Clovis for the last 4 years and have been very successful. I recently moved to the area and between Artesia, Carlsbad and young guys working in the oil fields I figured it would be the perfect opportunity. Give me your thoughts? Give me some Ideas for names? Eddy County Rush is something that I really can't get out of my head??

My son Chris plays for the NM Wildcats. They have had some good skill position players, ex Lobos ets. Didnt get a chance to see them play this year. Skylar Sergeant plays for them, ex Aggie from Albuq, good lineman, probably pushing 40. The problem with the teams is the work requirement some of the players can get oout off. My son works at Nick and Jimmys restaurant, good place if you are looking for someplace to eat up here. Hope I didnt break a rul with that last sentence. He misses a few games every year due to work. So my advice to you Linus, which you probably dont need, is to get as big a roster you can to fill in for guys who have to work.
