Ok going to add a few more to the list, as I was traveling through these areas. Probably not the best time to capture these as most are littered with track equipment this time of year and the time I went through a couple track practices were ongoing, deming & cruces, but about the only time I will be around these areas.

Some great shots, Randall. Thanks.
Does Alamogordo have a new stadium? I remember in the mid-1980s that its stadium had a big fence all the way around on the inside of the track to control spectator access to the field.
Looks like some of the fields still have grass surfaces instead of artificial turf.

Thanks Rick.
Pretty sure that's the same Stadium in Alamo Rick, I think they just done some renovations. I was there for my son 9th grade scrimmage several years ago, believe some construction may have been ongoing then. Man I got cooked that game, it was so hot that day.
Yeah several small schools still have grass, I was suprised to see Lordsburg had turf. Deming is the only bigger school I know that has grass.
Lake Arthur I don't believe played football last year, not enough kids. Seen a few games there and a State Title game, Jose Porras kept that field in immaculate condition for such a small school, after a long tenure and winning some titles at Lake Arthur he's a dean at NMMI now.

Am getting homesick Randall, I enjoy all these pics of stadiums, how about some of RRHs? Then you could go to Cleveland and compare. Rams have not beat the Storm in a long time but have a better stadium Lol! I read in the Journal that La Cueva is going to Flagg staff to play Pinnacle HS from pheonix. Must have changed the rules, Alb schools haven't been allowed to play out of state

I plan to get those, I'd like to get most of New Mexico eventually. I was thinking this summer I'd try get the Rio Rancho area and maybe Santa Fe. I want to get Portales, Clovis, Texico too. That's interesting on La Cueva, I know Cleveland went to Texas last year or the year before but I guess they don't get looped in with Albq schools do they?

Sue Cleveland High School (Cleveland High School) are part of the Rio Rancho Public Schools. I was surprised to learn that Volcano Vista is within the Albuquerque Public Schools District.

Yes BDC is right. Rams had a game in Flagg against a Phoenix team, maybe the same one (Pinnacle) a couple of years ago that was covid out and I read in the Journal that aps schools couldnt go out of state due to finances, must have changed the rules.
