Best test we've gotten so far this year. Bulldogs win it still 54-26.
Some sloppy play on our part, Coach Maupin didn't seem too happy, but better to have this type of game this week rather than next week.
Clean it up and give our best effort against Cleveland.

Dogs struggled a bit on defense but tightened it up from the 2nd quarter onward. Gave up one big run but otherwise held them in check. Had some fumbles and dropped passes and overthrows. There will definitely have to be remedied before the showdown with Cleveland. Refs were garbage, but that didn't hold the Dogs back. Overall, good effort and the perseverance is what matters in the end.

Well this game exposed a lot of things, that could be our downfall in 23’. Or the Dogs can work their tails off (individually and collectively) to correct our weaknesses. However, I think it all started with the energy. We definitely looked lethargic in this game. Jet lag from a long bus ride, maybe? Early in the season- but lots to improve on. That being said- I think Coach Maupin and Coach Rodriguez have spoiled us. We expect total domination on both sides of the ball every game. It wasn’t long ago, when every Artesia game was a shootout. By the way, that Deming QB is a bonafide stud (exceptional athlete).
