I think that team record, MOST POINTS ALLOWED (game), should be Hobbs, not Roswell. We smoked Roswell in 2022, but I think Hobbs scored a ton.

Cleveland hung 70 on us just year-before-last.....in 2021. Cleveland - 70 Artesia - 29 ive noticed a trend though. These teams may be good for a while, some longer than others, but only Artesia consistently competes at the highest level. Look at Las Cruces and Clovis. Artesia used to battle them and not win very much but had they played either of them the past several years they would have a fairly decent win streak (with lopsided scores). I feel these other schools don't have the tradition and even if they have a long serving coach, they still seem to fall apart after they depart (Roanhaus and Miller). Same could be said about the Manzano teams Artesia played several years ago.

Another good game. Defense played well. Offense sputtered here and there but that's to be expected when having to punch down eight weight classes. Special teams needs some work in the kicking department. There's no soccer players the dogs can recruit ?

How many young kids are getting playing time. If this is a young team NM better get ready Hey ChickenSalad here coach. #59 is my grandson. He's 6'3 215 defensive line and loves football. After all these years I finally got me a boy to watch play football for the Bulldogs.

How many young kids are getting playing time. If this is a young team NM better get ready Several juniors are starting (Offense: Conn/Cazares = Slots, Galindo = RB, a few have rotated in at receiver, and one lineman) (Defense: 6 juniors that I know of starting and/or rotating in). However the sophomore class is loaded, and will fill in any holes needed for next year.

Hopefully with more reps they will come around but the junior class has some big boys.
