Looks like that interview will air on ESPNU on Friday July 22nd at 3:30 eastern time. My cable guide says ESPNU is showing something else in that time slot (which is 1:30 p.m. in New Mexico). Or was that 3:30 a.m.? We old-timers would need to know, because that's too late to get up for us.  |

I'll check mine and see, you don't have a dvr nmsooner? best thing in the world to record shows when you can't be at home or not up to see it. Direct TV's you can set it to record from your phone.

I saw the interview on Tuesday night. The ESPN Website that I got the time from was incorrect. I just happend to catch it flipping channels. Maybe they will show it again.
It was a program on Leadership.

I watched it on College Football Live this afternoon at 2:00. Your link shows the entire interview. The part about Austin Box brought tears to my eyes.

I went back and rewatched the show and after the interview the announcers were VERY complimentary to Landry. Rod Gilmore said Landry just keeps getting better and better and he thinks that's because his fundamentals are so good and that he works at it. He said Landry's footwork was NFL stuff ... under center, he gets back, good balance, gets away, shoulder to the target and right on the money. "His accuracy is scary good." No QB in college football that's more accurate. He sees everything he needs to and has the poise when there's pressure to make sure he gets the ball to a guy where he can do something with it. "This is a guy that has so much natural ability but he works so hard on the fundamentals that he's become so good ... he's only a junior ... and if Andrew Luck were not the No. 1 QB and had gone to the NFL, we would be heaping all kind of praise on Landry Jones and how wonderful and great he is." Arm strength not quite as good but getting better, he's a big kid and not as quick as some of the other guys ... he's lights out upstairs, he's very good and doesn't have much to work on. He reiterated "If we didn't have Andrew Luck we'd be looking for flaws in Landry Jones and not finding many.
If it comes on again and you have a DVR it would probably be worth recording to get the commentary.
