I'm happy Chris is getting to play. It's really nice to watch him again and (although I know I'm a little prejudiced) is doing really well. Hamilton has a new fan!

There are some CFL games on cable, at least in Albuquerque, during the summer on the NFL Channel. I've been to 3-4 Canadian provinces, so I kind of enjoy it as a low-pressure sports outlet.
One of my old college classmates, J.C. Watts (later a U.S. Congressman from Oklahoma) was a big CFL star for several years, back in the 80's. The NFL didn't draft former option QB's much back then, but he could throw well enough to thrive in the CFL.

I get the NFL Channel but havent found any CFLgames on there, if anybody spots a Hamilton game let me know. Chris signed a 50K contract, which would be more than I make including all of my USAF benefits and regular job, but not much to sacrifice your body. They have all king of different rules in the CFL about imports/Canadiens, even as it related to position, I'm not too clear on all of them. I enjoy Canadien people, they are real nice, I was surprised about the riots after the Canucks lost game 7. It must have been troublemakers. I noticed prople from Vancover were out the next day cleaning up the mess, wouldnt happen in the US.

Yeah 50K is not bad at all, I've known guys that played in other leagues Arena and so on for a lot less. Hard to put a price tag on your body, all up to the individual but not bad at all for the CFL, seems like your more than likely to get a second chance at the pros from there then other leagues. Bears signed a WR Andy Fantuz from Saskatchewan earlier this year, still gotta make the team but he showed potential and is a big WR at 6'4, so I hope he pans out.
Mike I think the Canadians take their hockey more serious than football lol.

I did check the CFL schedule thru the weekend on the NFL Channel and they have 2 games on but neither one involves Hamilton.

So far, the NFL channel has shown at least 2 Hamilton games which I was able to see. I don't know if they have shown any I missed. It may depend on who they are playing. I know one game I watched was the one against Edmonton and the Eskimos are on again this week. They are leading the East Division with a 3-0 record. I think the first one I saw was against Saskatchewan. They don't show any more Hamilton games for the NFL Network but I believe they are all available on ESPN3. See the broadcast schedules @ www.cfl.ca/page/game_broadcast and www.cfl.ca/page/webcast-schedule. There are a couple of other former Aggies playing in the CFL so I keep an eye on the games, but I hadn't really watched any games recently until I found out Chris had made the Hamilton team.
