I just want to give props to the Bulldog defense this year. IMO they came a long way from early in the season. They came to play again last night at Goddard. There were some really good hits and plays. Other than the long run by Anaya and one screen pass, Goddard's offense was probably limited more than they had been all year. Not couting the TD after the turnover on the 6 yard line, they only gave up 14 points. I thought going in if Artesia held Goddard to 21 points, Artesia would win. Great job last night and on "getting better every week" I think you did that. Hats off to you!

They gave up 44 points total over the last 4 games, 21 was last night and really only 14 was on the defense. Best defense we've had in awhile, I hope the resurgence continues, they were fun to watch.

They did great the second half of the season. Great job guys. There are some good players coming up that should help fill the void. Denzyl Garcia (S), Gage Simer (DL), Jared Davis (LB), Braulio (LB) should all make impacts as juniors next year. I'm not as familiar with the junior class that didn't play much this year but will be impact players next year. Jalen Fuentes, Abram Mendoza and Jaron Halsell come to mind.
