I watched the ENTIRE game on firstrowsports.eu First time I have watched an entire NCAA basketball game in probably 5 years. Only went to the kitchen during commercials, lol. Randall, I don't know if you watched the whole game, but.........the first 3 1/2 minutes or so, ZERO points. Heck, I don't think anybody on either team even took a shot in the first 3 1/2 minutes. 9 or 10 turnovers in the first 3 minutes. Very sloppy in the beginning. I was pretty sure UNM would win, but the way things were going in the opening minutes I thought it might end up UNM 12...LBSU 9. Started out VERY slow.

Bottom line, Both New Mexico big schools made the dance. Now one lives to play at least one more game. Several positives so far. Maybe NMSU will make some noise as well.
Louisville is next for UNM, which will be a big task. I believe they can win that one too, but up after that will be my pick to win it all, Missouri. Two tourney wins and a trip to the sweet 16 would be great in my opinion. Overachieving already if we based it on $$$ spent on recruiting, etc....

Crispy I had too much going on at work to look in, I was able to listen to the last 5 minutes on the yahoo radio stream. I thought they were streaming all the games for free? the video stream was like $3.99 for all the games but the radio stream was free. I'll have to check that site crispy, looks kinda like our old website that got shutdown channelsurfing.net I'm glad UNM wasn't one and done, that would have been disappointing to me. I'm hopeful for at least one more win for them, anything further than that would be icing on the cake. I'm not sure NMSU can win, but the Hoosers are missing a star player so I'm expecting a close game for them, sure would be nice for them to have at least 1 win as well.

Randall, you could have gone to tbs.com and logged on there to watch the game if you have a dishnetwork or directv account. That's how I watched it and got around the $3.99. I do have direct tv, good to know thanks, just sucks because CBS as I remember use to stream every game for free and in HD a year or two ago, these things never last though, always start out as free, they reel you in and then want to start charging. I was kinda disappointed in the aggies, I thought they would compete better, man how many open lay-ups did the Hoosiers have and like you said Rapid 3 pointers killed them too. They had a good season though and at least made it, hopefully they can continue and build that program up even more.

Aggies just didn't have the fire down the stretch. Almost like the WAC tourney wore them out. It also didn't help that so many "talking heads" picked NMSU as the upset. I would rather stay under the radar and hope the other team takes us lightly. I liked the team this year, playing wise and personality wise, so I really enjoyed the season, but I think we were a little one dimensional.
You know what they say ... maybe next year. I think Mullings will be a good one as long as he keeps his focus and puts in the necessary work.

With Missouri falling, UNM can make some real noise potentially if they can get by Louisville tomorrow...Potentially a HUGE break for UNM if they can take care of business at hand tomorrow...

Ding, Dong, Duke Is Dead!!! Ha Ha! Who saw that one coming?
#2 seed Duke goes down to #15 Lehigh in the opening round. With #2 Missouri getting upset by #15 Norfolk State, that means that half of the #2 seeds make their exit in the opening round. First time that has ever happened. I bet that wrecked a lot of brackets. Probably nobody in the country picked those 2 upsets.

Ok Randall, NMSU had their fun. It's time to return this thread to its original form: UNM Hoops.

Me too. They got lost after half time for about 7-8 minutes and then just couldn't make any threes to get over the top. They were 5-23 from three.
