Trevor made this video for a Nike camp he is going to attend. It is mainly Sophomore year with a few Freshman highlights thrown in at the beginning of the video.

I hope that arm is ready to throw for about 2500 yards and those legs to run for another 1000 and back to back state titles. No pressure or anything lol jk, well kinda Good luck at the camp, looking forward to watching him play QB for the next couple years.

The ladd is going to give secondary players alot of headaches. If he pitches this year make sure you take care of that arm.

The ladd is going to give secondary players alot of headaches. If he pitches this year make sure you take care of that arm. "If" he pitches? He'll be pitching all spring and summer. I do worry about him throwing footballs in the morning and baseballs in the afternoon. I hope he doesn't overdue it. He loves both sports and isn't ready to pick just one. I think we have enough pitchers to keep his count down like last year.

He looks recruitable to me if he has any size at all! Very athletic

Well he was rejected and didn't get in the camp. It's for juniors and seniors mostly with the occasional sophomore with substantial varsity playing time and stats which he didn't have this year. Maybe next year.
On a personal note, being rejected and told no is real life unlike a no cut policy and the current practice that everyone gets a trophy. JMO

Hopefully, this is a motivator for your son. It was for Michael Jordon when he was cut from the high school basketball team...Go Dog's bring the trophy home...

I know what your saying bdogfan, but I think some people get carried away with that saying jordan got cut from basketball. As a sophomore he didn't make Varsity, but he played on the Junior Varsity team, he wasn't cut away from the team totally. He was a great HS Basketball Player, sure it did motivate him but really cut he was not. Anyways lol, big jordan/bulls fan.
I'm surprised you get rejected by any camp these days jayster, I would think $$$ alone gets you in, I guess there are some out there that are free and invite only though but I'm guessing not many. I know these bigger camps are necessary though to get noticed and get your name out there, but it'll happen for him I feel.

IMO Eulenbach's still going to be one of the great qb's coming out of Artesia. He's still going to give opponents next season something to worry about and who knows he may lead the 'dogs to bring the blue trophy home.

The Nike camps are free but you must be invited due to space limitations.

Jayster.................This is just for future reference. I know that the video was just for a Nike camp, but from everything I have read, PLEASE do NOT add music to recruiting videos! ESPECIALLY recruiting videos! I have heard JBACA at NMPreps mention this MANY times. If you send a video to a specific college coach for recruiting purposes, LEAVE THE MUSIC OFF!
College coaches are interested in the performance of the prospect that is featured in the video. NOT the music. They are VERY turned off by any music that may be present in the video. The music is a distraction. I have read many times where JBACA has said that 9 times out of 10 when a college coach plugs in a recruit's video if there is music he will pitch it in the trash after about 15 seconds.
Don't get me wrong! I really liked Trevor's video. Just trying to help you out.

crispy, the one he sent to the camp was condensed down to 5 mins and the music was not included. He also included a front page with his name, high school, height and weight.
I hate that the school shoots their video in SD. It looks terrible. I guess I'll have to film next year if I want HD. Maybe I can get Randall to continue filming and give me the video!!! (hint, hint).
Thanks for the advice. This is all new to me. Baseball is even crazier! Not as much video and much more travel involved.

I know what you mean, once you get hd it's hard to go back. I was mad because I couldn't get the super bowl in HD on Direct TV, cause it's usually on ABC or NBC we get the locals on our dish but I guess their feed to direct tv is only standard definition. It's like going back to driving a car with no power steering, lol that sucks, there is no going back.
I know rocketlab got his own hd camcorder and a tripod and filmed all the plays from the stands for his kid. A Lot of extra work though when you want to just watch your kid play and enjoy the game, but it will be fun to look back on someday.
I hope to make more games this year, your welcome to whatever I can capture. I think HD will be here soon, I know KSVP would like to stream the game in HD next fall if all goes ok, if they archive that game footage, maybe they can make or sell copies and you can make video cuts from it.
When I look back at some of my first football videos I made, I'm almost embarrassed, it looks horrible to me now. I'd have to playback the whole capture from my camcorder and record it back to my computer and then make cuts, now I can copy over all my footage in minutes from a memory card, so what used to take a few hours to do can be done in half the time or less from start to finish, thank god lol, I couldn't take it going back to the old way.

Ha Ha! Back in MY day if you wanted to record game footage, you had to load a blank VHS tape directly into the video camera. Recorded it directly onto the VHS tape. The camera weighed about 20 lbs.

Don't change that. Keep the big thing, THE BIG THING. Bulldog football is about the kids.

All sports have a no cut policy.

Jayster, He is saying to keep the no cut policy in Bulldog Football because that embodies Bulldog Football. He is not arguing that there is not a not cut policy in the other sports.
