Seems like a crazy move to me, 49ers would have been the better fit to me. Randy Moss, Mario Manningham, Michael Crabtree, Vernon Davis, awesome defense.
I think this will backfire on Denver. What do you think?

I've gat a lot of thoughs on this move. First of all I am amazed at how big Peyton is. I watched the press conference today on ESPN. He was standing next to John Elway, who was listed at 6'3" when he played an looked at least 4 inches taller.
I wanted Peyton to retire because of his neck. I'm getting a small disability check each monthe for injuring my neck in the AF and know how painfull it is and I'm sure Peytons is much worse than mine. Mark Schlereth said Peyton had the top doctor in the country do the surgery and he was told the neck would be worse on the plane flight than it would be during games.
I hope Tebow stays a Bronco. If he does it will be probably be an H back or fullback. I recommend anybody who is interested in Tebow go to the library and check out his book "Through my Eyes", it really shows how much of a competitor and hard worker he is. Nobody, not even Peyton will outwork Tim.
I think it will take until the 2013 seaqson before the Broncos are Super Bowl contenders, they have the second toughest schedule in the league this year.

The 49ers have the best defense in the NFL right now and give Peyton the best chance to win the big one of all his suitors.. they also have Jim Harbaugh as HC, who is high strung, and probably wouldn't give total control over to Peyton. I'd also bet that Peyton, who is set in his ways, knew he would eventually tire of Harbaugh's raw raw personality.
In Denver, Manning can call all the shots....

I think Andrew Luck is what really caused all this, if he isn't available to draft the colts keep Peyton Manning. They cleaned house and want to rebuild, they better hope Luck is in fact the real deal. I think he his but you just never know.
From listening to the interviews today too, it seems John Elway was certainly key in why Peyton chose Denver. I like Peyton Manning but I always saw him as a QB that couldn't win the big one. He did finally beat my Bears for the Super Bowl, but he was playing against Rex Grossman lol, bears were missing 2 all pros on D, mike brown at safety was a huge loss, sour grapes maybe lol but that would be hanging huge over Manning had he not won it. To me Eli is not the technician Peyton is at QB, but he comes up big when it matters the most. Peyton will make Denver a better team but I don't see them winning a Super Bowl with him.
I saw the Broncos and Bears this year and saw Tebow mania first hand. As crazy as that was it's seems it's over just as fast as it started. I think he will be fine though, wherever he goes will be to a team that believes in him and wants him there, I kinda think Tebow will be better off in the long run.

I'd thought it would be the Jaguars, but it's official now he is a Jet. Should be interesting.

Ha Ha! They changed the story and the headline after I posted that link. When I posted the link the headline was Tebow To Jets May Not Happen.
