Just a few hours ago. It dropped some really intense hail! Wendell Malone is the Regional Volunteer Skywarn Coordinator for Eddy County with the Midland National Weather Service. I'm sure you have heard Wendell on the radio here in Artesia giving severe weather updates in the past. Wendell just barely put this video, AND these photos up on his facebook page just a couple of hours ago. The video and the pics are from what happened in Oklahoma City tonight. Hope everybody up that way is safe! This had the potential to be really dangerous if anybody got caught outside. The hail in the video is just the small stuff. The big stuff, baseball size and larger, came later. Yes, that is a DVD in the picture! This one is just insane!

I would feel blessed if we got a sprinkle in Rio Rancho.
