Image Courtesy of SkyRider DesignsDeming comes to Bulldog Bowl this Friday for the Artesia Homecoming Game. Deming is 2-1 on the Season Deming lost to Belen 14-7 Deming beat Hot Springs 48-6 Deming beat Santa Fe 34-6 Scores from the last 5 years 2011 Artesia 41-33 W 2010 Artesia 53-0 W 2009 Artesia 47-7 2008 Artesia 52-0 2007 Artesia 49-6 As you can see this game is historically lopsided in Artesia's favor, but it is Homecoming Night and Deming comes in with a winning record and who knows they might be the best team we have faced so far, but once again I expect a big night for the Bulldogs.

Any word on Deming? They had some hype early in the year but it's been quiet lately? Come on BDC, give us a nugget.

He's playing. He was warming up at the Valencia game. Says he could have played that game if they would have let him. Sometimes we have to protect Trevor from himself!

I think they should keep Trevor out this week and let Him play next week in the ECW game and let Drew play against Deming. Drew is doing a good at QB.

Your right Rapid, Drew is good at QB. Just wondering about Eulenbach. Hadn't seen any updates on him.

For some reason I have more confidence in the defense this year against the rush, I think they will hold off Demings running attack. Go 'dogs beat Deming.

Good evening Bulldog faithful, sorry I wasn't around last week but the Bulldogs had a bye week and I'm a professional ball player, I need to be around people that understand that.
With that said here I am, on the eve of Homecoming Eve. Let me tell you kids something right now, back in my day we had a bonfire on homecoming eve, I said bonfire not bong fire. We use to spend all day stacking cardboard boxes and round up various mascots to burn. Once night fell we would set fire to those boxes and watch it burn, people would be screaming death chants for the other team and torturing their mascot, hell I think we threw a live cat in there once, a few old ladies would burn their bras, It was amazing. I guess after 9/11 when everybody got soo sensitive the tradition was stopped, you can thank Bin Laden for that.
Don't get me started on parade's either, those suck too now. You can't throw candy cause some dumbass might get ran over. Well if you run out in front of a car for a jolly rancher, you probably should be ran over, if your going to risk your life at least let it be a bag of skittles.
So what's the point of homecoming anymore it's no different than any other game. I hate seeing those homecoming garters too, don't waste your money guys, and if your a dude wearing one well I guess we know what team your playing for.
Just know that my homecomings were better than yours and will ever be but hey I'm kenny powers too. Now the news I have isn't all bad, you don't have to play Manzano for homecoming this year, just Deming.
So Happy Homecoming out there everybody!!!!

Never thought I'd say this but Kenny's right in some ways. The homecoming events seemed to be more fun back in the day. How many traditions have we lost in the name of safety, ie the fireworks this year, right or wrong the old stuff is missed and was a lot of fun.

Usually Srs hitting sophs Putting Portales bumper stickers in urinal and it was piss on Portales week.

Gavino Saiz had a big night 5 total touchdowns, 4 on the ground and 1 through the air.
Jaylon Fuentes made some nice plays on defense, a sack and a pick. A couple other picks tonight as well.
Artesia rolls to 4-0, setting up Carlsbad next week in the Bowl. Look for my highlights on the message board this weekend, should be a good one.
