My condolences to Butch Henderson a friend and to his brother Cooper. I remember her making cookies for us when we played football in their back yard when I was a child.

Pitch great way to recognize her THE FIRST LADY OF BULLDOG FOOTBALL Hey coaches wives are special. I know Charliedog knows that better than most. She meant a lot to my mom, and probably taught her a lot about how to do it right. I would say my mom has influenced my own wife. If you think about it, Fid touched a lot of lives either directly or indirectly. LG will always be the biggest name at the best football school in NM. was an asst coach on 1 state title, won 5 as head coach, coached and hired Mike Phipps who won 7 more, hired my dad who won 2, raised Cooper who has won the remaining 14. Fid was more than a little responsible for his greatness and even more so for Cooper. There will never be a more important lady in NM high school football. My hats off to her and her legacy. May her legacy continue to grow with every football hung on the press box on through the years.
