Should be a fun one to watch! I hope to see a clean, hard hitting game from both teams. Sprinkle in some good sportsmanship and a bulldogs win, I'd call that a good night! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

The defense is doing good against a high powered offense. Hopefully they will do even better in the second half

Valiant effort by the Bulldogs tonight we were clearly outsized by Cleveland but traded punches with them all night. We come up short tonight 42-28 but nothing to be ashamed of for sure.

What happened to Duff? Anyone know. I missed that part as Livestream cut out periodically for me.

I can handle losing, unless it's Goddard or Carlsbad 😂, but losing like that is BS! Too bad a team that is supposed to be that good has to have help, or do they not call holding in high school anymore? Poor Cody Scott probably has bruises on his arms, or at least hand imprints! Someone as huge as Cleveland was, can't play the game right, without help from the zebras? BULLDOGS made some costly mistakes, and or plays, early on but settled down & played a helluva game, being they were not given a snowball chance in h*** of winning. Just a "few" non calls could have changed the game BIG TIME! OK, I'm done ranting, I think my blood pressure is about to explode!

Tonight I watched Artesia battle with a very good Cleveland storm team. I expected what I saw tonight. Bigger talented well disciplined team. My little nephew who loves football was getting upset at how the game was going and I would just tell him it was needed in a way. The storm exposed bits and pieces the dogs need to fix. Me personally I expected such a game from a 6A state champions. So tomarrow they watch game tape and learn to fix things and move on to the next game. Proud of the Bulldogs tonight they never gave up and that's why it's great to be a bulldog. Congratulations to the storm. Think it would have been a little more classy to have take a knee instead of pushing up that last touchdown but hey what do I know lol.

There was some big calls in this game bgp. As far as right or wrong I don't know.
I did see one I thought was bad, Cleveland QB threw it to his receiver over on the Cleveland sideline he dropped it as our cornerback was making the tackle as the storm receiver dropped the ball it fell into our cornerbacks hands as he was sliding out of bounds but I saw his knee clearly in bounds still. Ref called it incomplete. Ref was right on top of it but i was siting on visitor side down low and I say he had it without a doubt. He was on his back and ball fell right into his hands. I don't know ? would have been a huge turnover I figure we would have marched down and scored and tied it up. Would have been a huge momentum swing.

Well the dogs need to lick their wounds and work on eliminating the penalties, they have another tough one Friday. Two things I'd like to point out. How did Las Cruces lose to Cleveland? I'd like to see that game and second, did I see Avita get a one handed interception? I thought he intercepted it with one hand. Go 'dogs whip the Tigers...

Ethan Duff hurt his left ankle/foot when he went WAY up to make an outstanding catch for a long gain,,but came down on his ankle. Hope he is able to play against Los Lunas cause we gonna need him. I keep wondering bout the reasoning for deferring to receive to start the game,,,and got a bad feeling at that time,,,, ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) ? We KNEW their offense would score,,so why,,,,,? there I'm done,,,,

I have been wondering why the 'dogs deferred too? I think they ought to stay with getting the ball first. I got a bad feeling about that too.

The Dogs played well last night. Cleveland was big and physical! They have some great stock there. I was very frustrated that towards the end of the game, they got lazy and held a lot! They will have a tough time against Rio Rancho with those types of mistakes. Anyways, hats off to them to come in and get the win. Be encouraged though that our Bulldogs are tough! Duff will be back. He was walking at the end of the game. The defense better get ready as we have Michigan commit O'muary Samuels coming to town.
Keep your heads up!

Overall, it was a good game, a few plays could have definitely changed the game. Cleveland has a really good team and I wish them the best, take it all the way! I thought they played the game the right way, there is probably holding on every play somewhere. I refuse to take anything away from them and try to blame the refs. They had some calls go against them too. The difference was they made a few plays when they absolutely had to make them. We had a chance to tie or win if we could have stopped that last drive and we had a chance to get off the field twice. In the overall scheme of things, it just doesn't matter. Next week will have a big effect on the seedings later in the year. Los Lunas has already beaten Roswell and Alamogordo. Put this behind you, fix the things you can fix and get ready for next week! Nothing but positives from me for last night. I love our Bulldogs and they are still a top 5 team overall in the state and I think they will hold the blue at the end of the season, but they will have to work for it. Go Dogs!

I think the Rams are going to destroy Cleveland...The 'dogs will get ready for Los Lunas and Samuels, just like they did with Timmy Smith back in the day. Go 'dogs stop the Tigers...

I think the Dogs had their chance to make plays but just didn't. Cleveland did... For example late in the game where we had them for a 3rd and long and they converted. I had to watch via Livestream and noticed dropped passes which seems uncharacteristic. Did y'all notice that too or is that too nitpicky?

The 'dogs did drop a few passes. Well, need to review the film, work on the mistakes and get a good game plan for Los Lunas, including stopping the running back supposedly attending MSU. Hopefully Ethan Duff will be ready to play and the dog's get the "W". How long has it been since the 'dogs lost to a 5 A team?

Does anyone know when RR plays Cleveland? I would like to go to that game...If the bulldogs play that night, I will watch them on stream via my phone. I did that when I took the camper I bought on her maiden voyage when the 'dogs played the Jaguars.

Check this out, calpreps.com projected Cleveland would beat Artesia 42-28. Dead on. They project Los Lunas will beat Artesia 38-28. Keep in mind their projections are based on a neutral field situation. Hopefully this will be one of the rare times they are off. Come on 'Dogs, prove 'em wrong.
