We got a move in from T town over here in Andrews. I don't think it would be proper to put his name on here so I won't tell you guys who it is. I ran my traps on him. Said to be a better than average younger player. Didn't tell, me but I'm told that they told our administration they were tired of kids sitting at home and not getting to be kids in NM. Glad they chose Andrews but I hate this for my hometown. Gonna get worse. Don't get on here and tell me to not get political when I say YOU GUYS NEED A NEW GOVERNOR! Because I don't give a rip if you agree with me or not. Have a great BULLDOG day.

I know several folks who live in Santa Teresa, and they don't beat around the bush when discussing their guv.
I can't help wondering how her predecessor would have handled all of this.
I hope the move-in player does well there in Andrews.

That would be one of my sons best friends. We wish him the best and hope he comes home soon. In all reality, I don't know what we are still doing here. My kids are not doing well.

His parents aren't doing anything my folks wouldn't have done. LOL. I can just imagine my dad trying to navigate no football season. I would imagine if nothing else I would have gone to live with family in Odessa if I was a jh or hs kid. However, I love Andrews. It is the most like Artesia of any town I've ever seen. I know my parents turned down job opportunities in Andrews at least once. I pray Artesia holds it together.

I agree 100%. The ones that will suffer the most are the least fortunate, lot of kids out there need their teachers, need their coaches, cause sometimes that's the only positive influence they have.
Just from what I've seen with my own eyes and heard, I don't see how our Governor can't say this hasn't been a complete disaster, especially looking at the data, kids failing, no shows, suicides, just on and on. Maybe she truly thinks she's doing what's best, but I believe she's tone deaf, because I believe the majority of new mexicans want kids in school and doing activities.
I think back to my time as a bulldog, just an average kid in the system but things I learned, observed, instilled in me, no maybe they didn't show the fruits of that labor on the football field during that time, but I was part of the team, part of the system, and those seeds were planted, and I believe that experience has served me well later in life.
One last thing, Andy Lopez whatever they pay him he's worth every penny and probably more, even on Christmas break working with his group of kids that could/would attend, I know he's worked with my son a lot, I admire his dedication and trying to keep kids motivated and in shape even when things don't look so good as far as playing. I hope my son get's to play for him, what a great bulldog he was and to learn from.
