According to an article in the RR Observer, RR head coach Gerald Pannoni resigned. His wife passed away from MSA, Multiple Systems Atrophy, and was buried in Virginia, where he came to RR from. He said he wanted to be close to her. He was 12-3 over 2 seasons, both in 2021. Long time OC Nate Pino was immediately named his replacement. Pino, 40, was an all state player with the Rams in 2000 (long before I followed them). Hwas was the OC for every Rams HC except the first one, Bill Moon. That makes 4 of the 6 teams in the district from last year wi new HCs - RR, Cleveland, West Mesa and Cibola. West Mesa will be in a different district in 2022.
Good luck Coach Pannoni, I admire your dedication.

Yeah going to be interesting to see the 2 Rio Rancho Powerhouses with new coaches and if they can keep those programs rolling.
