Image Courtesy of Sky Rider Designs. We are half way through the Regular Season, Artesia (4-1) will take on the Bulldawgs from Las Cruces (3-2) The Bulldawgs were considered the #1 team in the State to start the season, but are coming off 2 straight losses to Rio Rancho 30-22 and Centennial 49-47. As we all know though, Las Cruces will not be a team to take lightly and will be more than ready to play Friday Night. Artesia has not beaten Las Cruces since 2010, last year the Bulldogs suffered one of their biggest defeats in our football history at the hands of the Bulldawgs 54-0. You can count on a more competitive game this time around, should be a good one.

Has Las Cruces gotten healthier? I know several key players haven't played in a couple of weeks.

Last I read from Delta, they may not have at least a couple of key players on the field. I agree with him, it is going to probably a shoot out. I will be surprised if the bulldogs get blown away this year. LC players healthy or not, Go BULLDOGS BEAT LAS CRUCES.

unfortunately the Bulldawgs will still be down. Two starters are lost for the season and there are still four key starters that will miss this game, mainly #22 Isaiah McIntyre (their best player on both sides) and Campos their best lineman. If #21 Molinar is back at running back he will be a handful. Look for #1 Kam Miller to go to #35 Aeneas Reynolds who caught a state record 18 passes last week vs Centennial. Miller threw for over 460 yards in that loss. I still expect a shootout, gotta beat the Dogs!

That is unfortunate with the injuries to those players. Hope they get well. I disagree with the last sentence. Thanks for the update. If you travel to Artesia, stay safe on the highway.

Do you guys stream your home games? We will be attempting to live stream the Artesia game this Friday on high school cube...it's free for anyone to watch through highschoolcube.com or the high school cube app. Have any of you heard of this app or have any of you used it?

I've never heard of it, but I will sure look it up. We do livestream our games. Our local radio station has a crew of high school kids from a audio/video class that video the games.
It can be seen from a link at ksvpradio.com

Never heard of it, but KSVP our radio station streams video of every home game, they do a good job to, also have the pre game talk on there at about 630. click on this link www.pecosvalleybroadcasting.com/then hit listen live, then a pop up will show then just click on bulldog sports, and it will come up, like I said at 630 they will have the pre game talk then the kickoff at 7.

41-33 Final, It went down to the final seconds with Cruces threating to score from the Bulldogs 10 yard line. With 2 seconds left Miller drops back to pass but is sacked and the Bulldogs hang on to win.
Huge win tonight.

How many yards did Wilkerson have tonight?

I heard he had 205 yards rushing on 7 carries. Hopefully they use this to their advantage going into future games. Wilkerson looks good out there!
