That sounds painful.
Yeah I would say a lot hinges on Frankie being able to help carry the load on offense next year.
Glad it's not too serious.

For 1, I think undefeated season are about to get a lot more common with this schedule! Also, 2024 will be another 2 horse race. Rematch of us and Roswell, my moneys on the Dogs!

I Hate to sound cocky, but yeah 10-0 is not an unrealistic prediction I think.
Centennial on the road, that's the biggest road block.
Deming and Roswell look to be our peers in 5A and biggest comp, both of those are at home, I feel good about that.
My good friend is making a football schedule graphic, it's going to look sharp, I'll post it when it done.

that's cool, is it similar to what Hobbs does I'm guessing ? Like a friend told me, now if we could just bring back fireworks Got the poster schedules sent to me, will post tomorrow morning. I got myself a new camcorder for next season, will do 4k 60fps excited to see what that will look like, should be a decent step up in quality. 155 days until kickoff.

My friend Richard found these examples, Musco Led, they did the Isotopes Ballpark, ours might look something like this.

I hate this kind of stuff -- glitzy lighting shows, announcers bellowing and leading cheers over the PA system, sound systems cranked up waaaaayyy too high, the whole gamut of show biz.
I live about a mile from Franklin High School's stadium -- those folks crank up the volume of the PA system so high that I can sit on my back porch and hear the whole schmear (whether I want to or not). It's just as bad from indoors. And if you're actually at the game, the volume of the sound system and PA guy drown out conversations and deafen your ears.
Grrr.

Grrr. Anyone with ADHD or similar conditions will most likely find this disturbing.

Too much crap at too high a volume, but that's the way it is these days. Guess I'd better break out the earplugs again.

All this stuff is for the kids. They love this kind of stuff. You and I are just too old school Rick. But I have to admit, I will probably enjoy it more than you, lol. Noise-wise, I loved the fireworks........but Reggie's train horn really got old. Anybody remember Reggie and his horn? He blasted that dang horn after every single play!

I get what your saying Rick, when I saw you in El Paso and you told me about the Sun Bowl, I was sitting closer to the side with the speakers and yeah I had a headache when I left that game. I don't think our games are anything like that with excessive noise. Yeah Friday Nights I would say are somewhat of a production, we got one of the nicest fields, nice video board, now some lights, but as long as we back it up on the Field that's mostly what I care about, we can play ball too. It's the greatest show on Turf in SE NM

Reggie Phillips was a great QB dad during the coach Phipps and coach TW Harvey eras. He was my QB dad and he still goes to the home games, I asked him to bring his air horn to this year’s state game vs Roswell so he did . I vguess overtime people became annoyed with the loudness of his horn; however Reggie is still a big Bulldog fan. When you are ahead of a team by a touchdown or two, the noise from the opposing team can play a factor in the players keeping their poise, when we lost to Roswell this past year their fans, cop sirens, etc. made an impact in my opinion

Just a funny story that I heard about Reggie quite a few years ago..........Rumor in Bulldog-lore has it that this happened sometime in the 1990s at a home play-off game at Bulldog Bowl. I want to say it was a play-off game vs Silver City, but not really sure. Anyway, here goes......during that game at The Bowl the visiting film crew left their video camera unattended in the press box during half-time while they went to get something to eat. Reggie discovered the unattended camera....turned it on.....re-positioned it......dropped his pants, and bent over giving the visiting crews camera a full 15-20 second "Moon Shot". He then turned off the camera and returned it to it's original position. I can only imagine the reaction of the visiting players and coaches a few days later when they were watching the game film, lol. I heard this story from a former Bulldog Coach who shall remain nameless......
